Safety Systems Emergency Counter-Measure Services Inc. was founded and incorporated in 1978 by innovative and visionary people who foresaw the need for dependable, effective emergency planning, training and response for industry, public safety, military and other groups that have responsibilities involving hazardous chemical emergencies. Being one of the first companies in America who provided this service, Safety Systems has developed a staff of highly-qualified, field-experienced personnel. Due to the increased demands and complexities of emergency response and related needs, Safety Systems has made available expanded services to include disaster/emergency management, confined space rescue, CBRNE and Special Hazardous Materials response, standbys, escorts, planning, preparedness, and products.





The Haz-Mat, Leak, Spill & Fire Control Research and Development Center - A Division of Safety Systems International Training Institute (Safety Systems Training/Preparedness Facility) is located in a beautiful North Florida rural setting known as the "Original Florida/Suwannee River Valley" (Live Oak/White Springs area). The area affords canoeing, river rafting, and tubing, underwater cave diving, golf and tennis, museums, and historic sites. The area is approximately 1 hour from Jacksonville, 1 1/2 hours from St. Augustine, 2 1/2 hours from Orlando, 45 minutes from Gainesville, 45 minutes from Valdosta, Georgia and 4 hours from the Florida panhandle beaches.
